Elegant Thank You

This card was created using the design for this week's Stamping 411 Challenge. Sometimes there is a difficult format for me and this was my achilles heel. I finally tried to keep it as simple as possible so I used the SU! designer papers for most of the layering. This little stamp is in a set of its own and I just love its simple elegance. It helped tie everything together. I hope you enjoy it.

Father's Day Card

With Father's Day coming soon, many of you will need some ideas for the special day.  Today I wanted to share a card that my friend, Gail, helped to create.  We had fun trying to make a stamp look different.  The small circles are actually part of a flower. We just punched them into smaller parts.  I think they might have the look of orange slices. What do you think?

Paper: Parisian Breeze DSP, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Going Gray & Whisper White Cardstock

Quilted Card

When I saw this basic card idea I got so excited. It uses my Big Shot die cutter that I really love along with my punches...another love. It was easy to assemble. You cut a total of 12--1 1/4" squares (easily done with the SU! punch) and piece together on a piece of 4x5 cardstock. Then after they are glued you make littler x's along the seam lines like it was hand-stitched. Cute, huh? Then you run the entire 'quilt' through the die cutter using the Top Note die. After that you only have to add any words to the front. Enjoy!
