Wecome

Sorry it's taken me a while to post, but I think you'll like todays card. It was designed as part of the Stamping411 Challenge. It's hard to see but there is glitter in the clear embossing powder that I used on the flower. It adds a little pizzazz. I look forward to your comments.

Be Merry

I took today's stamping challenge and made a few changes to fit the stamps that I used. The ornaments just didn't quite work well within a circle and my snowman certainly couldn't take a rectangle. Of course the colors don't usually go with the holidays but I think they work well together. I am anxious to hear what you think.

Ink: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, and Pumpkin Pie
Paper: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White cardstock

Sparkling Medallion

The card today was done as part of the Stamping 411 weekly Saturday challenge. I recently to this Medallion stamp and been trying to use it in a variety of ways. To just use the center portion allows it to be seen in an entirely perspective. I hope you enjoy it as well.

Monday Stamp Challenge

Each Monday there is a new stamping challenge. They give me a design sketch and I create a card using basically that design. It can be altered somewhat according to sizes and styles that I select. This card is another really simple one to put together and doesn't have any extra accessories with the exception of some crystal effects. I hope you enjoy it.

Stamp Set: Warm Words and True Friend
Ink: Old Olive
Paper: Cottage Wall DSP, Whisper White C/S and Lovely Lilac C/S

Embossed Happiness

Today's card uses the reverse embossing method. To do this I used a Versamark inkpad to stamp the circles on glossy cardstock. They were then embossed in clear. I took daubers (sponges work well too) and rubbed coordinating colors on the paper. This is the result. What do you think? If you need anymore detailed directions, don't hesitate to email me. I really love reading comments for fellow stampers.

Stamps Used: Circle Circus and Warm Words
Ink: Old Olive, Read Red, Taken with Teal, Crushed Curry
Paper: Glossy C/S, Crushed Curry, & Kaleidoscope DSP
Accessories: 1/4" Real Red Ribbon, Clear embossing power

Happiness

Today's card shows a lot of layers, but I decided to keep it simple by keeping only one color in the design. Even the "ribbon" just a strip of the same color paper. I did add a little additional texture using the Textured Plate with the Big Shot. This could work for any number of occasions and in almost any color. This way, any of you can enjoy making it on your own with your personal stash of stamping suppplies.

Stamp Sets: Priceless and Warm Words
Ink: Dusty Durango
Paper: Whisper White & Dusty Durango C/S
Accessories: Scallop Oval and Oval Punches, Textured Plate with Big Shot
