Wecome

Sorry it's taken me a while to post, but I think you'll like todays card. It was designed as part of the Stamping411 Challenge. It's hard to see but there is glitter in the clear embossing powder that I used on the flower. It adds a little pizzazz. I look forward to your comments.

Monday Stamp Challenge

Each Monday there is a new stamping challenge. They give me a design sketch and I create a card using basically that design. It can be altered somewhat according to sizes and styles that I select. This card is another really simple one to put together and doesn't have any extra accessories with the exception of some crystal effects. I hope you enjoy it.

Stamp Set: Warm Words and True Friend
Ink: Old Olive
Paper: Cottage Wall DSP, Whisper White C/S and Lovely Lilac C/S
Accessories: Crystal effects over marker dots

Weekend stamping challenge

Today's card was done in response to the Saturday Stamping Sketch Challenge. (try saying that fast three times). Anyway, as usual, I took a few designer changes that worked for me. Of course, I still love the Daisies die and the rhinestone brad really sets it off, don't you think? Be sure to let me know what you think.

Stamps Used: True Friend
Ink: Close to Cocoa
Paper: Bermuda Bay, Vanilla & Kraft Cardstock and Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Clear rhinestone brad, Bermuda Bay ribbon
Tools: Big Shot with Daisies #2 die

Thanks with Dusty Durango

It's the weekend and it's raining. Perfect time for stamping. We'll don our rain gear later and hike. But for now, here's my card of the day. And again, nothing too elaborate.

The flower was inked using markers of Dusty Durango and Garden Green. A small slit was cut for the ribbon to wrap around and through the cardstock for a different effect. It's so easy to tie a bow if you wrap the ribbon first. Then take a shorter piece of ribbon and just tie a knot around the flat piece. It makes a nice picture everytime.

Stamps Used: True Friend and Kind & Caring Thoughts
Ink: Dusty Durango
Paper: Dusty Durango, Garden Green & Whisper White Cardstock
Accessories: Dusty Durango Ribbon
Tools: Eyelet Punch
