Trendy Seasonal Trees

Today's card was done for the Saturday Sketch Challenge.  It called for a relatively simple card design. With just a little color to spice it up, this is my final result. I'm still thinking that it needs just a little more but I can't quite figure it out. If you can give me suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Stamp Set Used: Trendy Trees
Ink: Green Galore, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Close to Cocoa
Paper: Green Galore, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White Cardstock
Accessories: 1/4" Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon

Great job! A little tip for you! See the empty spots in the center of the "leaves" of that image? That is where the branches of the tree trunk fit. The leaves then will surround the top trunk of the tree! If that makes sense...

I think it's beautiful just the way it is... It's so hard to stop when you feel like it needs something more! Maybe a faux bow in the bottom right along the line of pumpkin ribbon? or maybe some bling down there... But I think it's fab.

This is adorable - the trees look like they have "faces" and remind me of the trees on HR Puffinstuff when I was a kid.
Thanks for playing along this week!

The presence of trendy seasonal trees over the card makes the card auspicious and it is prepared especially for Saturday to make it a grand success.
